人人都在革“经销商”的命,却都想取而代之
“经销商”似乎成为创业新人都在突破的风口,张口闭口谈其弊害,要革“经销商”的命。然而在看了这些人的项目,无不想要以自己的模式取而代之。电商发展了那么多年,创业新人们一般不具备生产产品的能力,试图再动“经销商”的肥肉,恐怕没有那么好夺取。
经销商指以交易为生的人或组织,关键点在经销。从本质上说,经销商就是二手贩子,他只做买卖、不管生产。 然而,跟其他二手贩子相比,经销商又有一些不同,那就是他的经营和管理能力。
曾经经销商极大的掌握了商品价格的话语权,又存在很大的商品质量问题,买家和经销商的矛盾很深,这也是电商能够在国内迅速发展的缘由。厂商缺乏将产品送至消费者手中的能力,往往就需要各种传输手段和工具,也就是渠道。曾经经销商是渠道中最重要的一环,现在电商可能已经取代了经销商的地位。
现在再谈革“经销商”的命,恐怕不合时宜。创业新人们似乎对经销商存在一些误解,低估了经销商的实力,而且是已经在激烈的竞技中存活下来的那些经销商。
在曾经很长的时间里,经销商极大的解决了消费者消费行为的“多样性”、“及时性”、“碎片化”。消费者对产品的功能、外观、价格等多方面,都有不同的需求,这就是消费的“多样性”。经销商和零售商在同品类产品的选择和陈列上力求多样,很好的满足了消费需求。随着时代的发展,“经销商”产品再丰富,也无法和“电商”相比拟,甚至显得很劣势。这个时候,经销商的功能更多转向于为用户提供高附加值,电商难以解决的“正品”。
许多时候的消费行为是无法预知的,比如灯泡坏了需要马上更换,即使深知从厂家或者电商可以购买到更便宜的灯泡,但是恐怕都会选择在经销商或者零售商购买。因为除了考虑产品本身的成本,还需要考虑完成购买行为的成本。没有人会出于电商更便宜的理由,而使家庭陷入长久的黑夜中。这就是经销商解决消费行为的“及时性”的逻辑。
生产往往是连续性的、批量化的,而消费行为不是,矛盾由此而生。停止生产对于很多厂商是极大的损失,而经销商的批量订单可以解决这一问题。另外经销商的存在可以加快厂家的资金回笼,扩大再生产,提供仓储和物流。厂商是乐于牺牲部分利润的。
当然随着现代工业的发展,生产商逐渐意识到了消费的碎片化问题对于生产计划的破坏。电商团购逻辑的存在,使得生产商开始利用订单化生产方式加以解决。传统连续性的、批量化的生产很难在现在工业站稳。
革“经销商”的命,意味着用更好的模式来取代它。能够生存到现在的“经销商”,大都有几把刷子。没有自己的产品生产和很大的创新点,仅仅凭借互联网思维试图取代“经销商”的所有功能,似乎显得有点单薄。
搬运工或许会消失,但是“经销商”会长久生存下来。
