称霸中国的微信和QQ在国外怎么样呢?没想到
微信推出之后就曾尝试过全球化战略,但现在依旧是月活为7.62亿人次,是中国大陆地区最受欢迎的APP,海外用户占比极低,在13年腾讯就请足球巨星梅西为微信全球代言人,还让他出现在了一系列网络与电视广告中,在全球各地投放。
但是微信的努力好像并未获得回报,在海外的用户数量增长乏力,黏性不如Facebook WhatsAPP等应用,甚至在泰国,微信都已经落后于Line了,海外针对互联网产品的法律管制程度要低于国内,这就导致了一些敏感的话题无法存在于一些社交产品和内容产品上。再换个角度看,海外部分国家针对我大中华是有限制令的,我们的互联网产品去了海外同样会受到信息监管,
目前来看我们国内只有电商类的互联网在辐射海外市场,社交类的都出不去。对任何一家企业来说,哪怕是世界级的巨头,要在全球每个市场都做好是非常不容易的,这里面的问题多且复杂,本地化,文化沟通,资本竞争,政府监管等等,每一条都可以是让一家巨头没办法在另一个国家市场做起来的原因。海外用户对于互联网的行为习惯和我们中国人有很大的不同,他们的聊天工具就是用来聊天,社交网站就是用来社交,自拍网站就是用来自拍,核心功能非常垂直,也很少做过多的延伸。而我们国内的产品因为用户量级非常庞大,所以都愿意先拉用户在扩展更多领域。
这种习惯性的套路在国外是行不通的。我们不用海外的社交产品和海外不用我们的社交产品是一样的,都是因为行为习惯不同。微信能在中国取得巨大成功,其中的一个重要原因就是他们非常了解中国市场。因为QQ积攒了十年的数据和信息,腾讯对于移动场景的使用习惯非常了解,他们比中国其他任何对手都更明白,中国的用户需要一款怎样的聊天应用,于是他们慢慢的将它从一款社交工具变成了一个集所有功能于一身的移动化入口,以至于它几乎能覆盖中国人生活的所有方面,其实互联网产品本身的地域扩展性就很弱,到现在全球化做得比较好的也就只有搜索引擎了,因为是信息聚合,所以不存在太复杂的地域文化匹配
但是像QQ,微信这样的社交类产品就不一样了,文化不一样,你很难把握用户的属性,产品就很难定义。所以社交这个领域,其实各国也有更多自己的东西,国外的互联网市场变化莫测,微信和QQ想实现国际化不仅仅需要在技术上实现进一步突破,更要逾越国外文化,政治的多层鸿沟。当一个新的产品想要进入本地市场的时候,势必会面临重重的压力。正如华为在美国被禁售,阿里的支付宝钱包也被美国不允许入内,微信和QQ在全球化的进程中,面对的各种阻挠也不在少数。
