苏宁小店快速崛起,是在蚕食百货店的流量?
几天前,苏宁易购收购万达百货的消息刷屏,引起了新一轮的讨论。万达抛售百货业,且近年来发展显颓势,是不是传统百货业真的走向末路了?
从当前状况判断,零售业的频繁重组和并购,的确加速了行业的发展变革。2017年底,苏宁提出了“智慧零售大开发”战略。而苏宁小店项目的启动对接,实现了跨区域,甚至是贯通产业链的整合。
中国零售业分散的格局是由区域市场的多样性和复杂性塑造的,但在新零售大背景下,苏宁小店零售业务不仅有着强大技术力量的支撑,也在战略层面体现了企业发展规划的高瞻远瞩。
虽然阿里和京东在这条路上更早起步,但是苏宁小店和其他线下商店以及传统便利店不同,它在商业模式上有更多创新,换句话说,苏宁小店的定位在于打造社区O2O一站式服务。
一直以来,电商在产品体验方面的缺失都是未能解决的痛点,而这一点也正是实体店的最大优势,对于各大电商平台而言,谁能率先通过线下布局完善产品体验,谁就能够成为新零售标准的制定者及行业主宰者。
因此,这也决定了线下商店是底层基础设施层面的,核心在于数据的贯通。行业巨头在运营层面参与实体零售的步伐目前仍以探索性和实验性为主,在未来3-5年,他们尚不能改变中国零售业高度分散的基本格局。
当前零售行业的并购重组使得宏观环境发生着变化,但这场以消费者数据应用为核心的变革还将滚滚向前。对于苏宁而言,苏宁小店的发展不仅是渠道形态的变化,更重要的是影响了消费品行业的竞争力模型,从线上到线下引流,服务体验变得比以往任何时候更加重要。“以消费者为中心”不再是一句口号,它需要落实在业务各领域的精细化运作中。
目前,苏宁小店仍处于快速扩张期,长期回报还有待观望。但苏宁主打的用户社区化格调,显示出新零售企业不仅仅是经营产品,更是经营用户。另一方面,用户的流量平台也是一个社区,如何更有粘性、更有活性,也需要在实践中进一步探索。
