从流量先行到用户运营,美妆零售如何变革?

▍化妆品零售进入下半场 CS渠道严重滞后
得益于用户群和流量的增长,互联网企业在过去的二十年间实现了爆炸式增长。然而,近几年,随着人口和流量红利消失,获客、留存各方面成本都开始提高,无一不催生着互联网下半场的到来。
其中,新零售是互联网下半场的表现之一,各大企业争先恐后地涌入这场大潮中,一边摸索一边前进。盒马首家店上海金桥店每天平均营业超100万,不到半年实现单店盈利。亚马逊实体书店仅用1年半时间就实现了盈亏平衡……新零售成为趋势的核心,是其回归商业本质,抓住了用户。
商业发展进入下半场,从流量运营时代进入了用户运营时代。化妆品行业也不例外。“化妆品零售无疑也迈入了下半场。然而,CS渠道仍然停留在上半场的思维中,黄金十年的思维定式阻碍着零售商们的成功。”吴志刚强调。
▍化妆品店的2种病
过去的黄金十年,中国化妆品行业成为全球增长最快的市场之一。如今,CS渠道却面临着不少挑战和困惑,顾客频繁流失、旧的经营模式不再试用、经营成本不断上升……
背后的根本原因在于化妆品实体零售进入了用户运营时代,而CS还停留在流量运营时代。消费者的变化,传统的零售模式已满足不了当代消费人群年轻化、时尚化的消费需求,他们对购物环境和购物体验有着更高的要求,流量不再意味着更多的销量,卖货也不再是化妆品实体店唯一的价值体现。
吴志刚指出了目前大多数化妆品店在经营上出现的两大问题。
第一,精神病-流量焦虑症:客流的减少,让曾经尝过人口红利甜头的化妆品店一时无法适应,门店变得焦虑,将生意变差全部归结为客流的减少,幻想着有流量就可以解决一切问题;
第二,神经病-对终端用户需求无感,漠视用户迁移。上一代化妆品店,通过传统的打折促销的经营模式满足了上一个消费阶段的顾客。而面对全新改变的新一代用户,门店经营者束手无措,不了解新一代用户需求,更不知如何着手去了解。进而漠视用户需求,将解决门店经营困惑诉诸于加强打折促销等传统经营方式。
▍常见的4大误区
当然, 面对种种困惑,不少化妆品店采取了措施,却走入误区,不著见效,不仅牺牲了门店形象,还造成了顾客的不断流失。吴志刚总结了多数门店陷入的4大误区。
名品引流,“缺乏区隔”。大品牌、知名度高、成熟名品容易吸引顾客进店,但壁垒低,与其它业态或者同行竞争对手缺乏区隔。
打折品引流,“伤客损客”。多数门店经营者认为好看、流行、高性比的流通产品就是新一代用户想要的,而不注重商品以及服务的品质,一味以促销打折吸引用户,导致难以回购。
日用品引流,“有人流无客流”。大量引进饮用水、纸巾、洗衣液等便利产品,虽然给门店拓展了大量客流,然而并非化妆品店目标客流,容易造成门店形象低端化。
日韩爆品引流,“有客流难持续”。大量引进日韩爆品,然而利润低、供应不稳定、潮流变化快,虽然引来年轻用户,但客流难以持续稳定。
“当用户看清了你的各种营销把戏,便会离你而去”吴志刚说道。不会对症下药,终究导致门店难以破局,压力重重。顾客越来越留不住,而经营者们却不知所措。
▍下一步:回归用户,破局重生
化妆品零售下半场,本质是要回归用户,专注用户价值经营将是门店的破局之道。
从黄金十年步入“寒冬”,实体零售的下半场竞争已经开始,只有与新一代用户建立联系,才有未来。“我们必须告别黄金十年的惯性思维,重新去接触、去感知用户,唤醒初心才能赢得未来。”吴志刚如是说。
